Fall/Winter 2012

Hi Friends,

First thing, thank you for praying for me and my siblings during the past few months, since we lost our dad. It’s been a difficult time for us trying to effectively step into his shoes to recuperate a struggling farm business, along with dealing with other separation anxieties. This time has helped me to comprehend how blessed we are as believers to know that, although we will be working in heaven, it will be a time of eternal rest relative to anything in this life.

The Lord gave me enough of a break for Robert Johnson and I to leave September 11th for a two week ministry tour in Finland. Finland was a busy trip, but refreshing. It was probably our smoothest European trip ever. After landing in Helsinki, we went immediate to the city of Kouvola where we came with the perfect message to a group of people whom the Lord supernaturally led to start a network of house churches. We gave them more details of how to proceed with that and build a strategic intercessory network.

After a few days in Kouvola, we later travelled to the city of Joensuu where we spoke to a group comprised of almost every branch of the church inJoensuu - Robert and Jukka Finland, including a Lutheran pastor. As many meetings start in Finland, we felt like we weren't going to be given any grace unless the Lord really did something, and He did. It went from stone faces to not very many dry eyes by the end of the night. We laid out what the Lord wants to do in His church from releasing everyone fully into their callings, whatever their occupation, to how to form strategic intercessory teams. The Lutheran pastor said that he very much wanted to do everything we were talking about. He asked us to pray for him to be empowered to carry it out and release other pastors into their God appointed callings.

Several of those people then followed us to cities like Kitee 100 miles away. There the Lord responded in rapid fire succession giving words for us to deliver to individuals in the crowd. Several of our Finnish brothers and sisters experienced inner healing as these words were given as a catalyst for the Holy Spirit to start doing His miraculous work, unraveling possibly years of chains that the enemy has used to bind them. The Finnish people are very stoic but we have seen many dissolve in tears after we gave them the revelations about situations and past hurts they had experienced, some who had been contemplating suicide. The great thing is that we have seen and had calls and reports back about feeling freed from their depression followed by joy and laughter.

We ended our trip staying with our longtime friends who run a summer lodge in Tuupovaara in NE Finland. In a meeting there, we discussed small fellowship and intercessory groups and how these groups could maximize their success by becoming places where people can experience a closer relationship with each other and with Jesus Christ. We continually gave the message about freedom from old structures in the body of Christ as a whole or in their personal lives which keep them from walking in the fullness of what the Lord has for them.

The man who put together much of our trip, an advertising agency president who co-founded the Finnish Christian TV station and Christian magazine, told us that he has had many calls and e-mails from people about how our meetings blessed them in one way or another. Our host in Tuupavara said, “You guys don't know how big this is for Finnish people, who even keep great things inside, to be taking the time to write e-mails and call about how they were touched in those meetings". The organizing pastor in the city of Kitee told us that he would love to have us do an interchurch conference here for 5 days and would be petitioning the Lord to bring us back there. We got comments in Joensu and Kitee such as ‘We have had many Americans come through ministering, but your message and ministry is so different and much more refreshing’. ‘There was life giving power in your words’. My friends, we would not have experienced His power like we did without your intercession!!!

Kitee - Greig and Tuula Now on to future international ministry. Last April, the Lord gave me the time I would return back to Argentina. That date was December 18, which is the date that Ed Araiza and I will fly to Buenos Aires. It’s been 9 months since I was last in Argentina. We need to get back there to take care of our South American home base business. There are about 20 back logged invitations to minister at various locations in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Peru but I’m not sure which of those we are supposed to tackle at this point.

A big thank you to those who helped support me financially to do the Finland trip. Please consider aiding me financially in our upcoming endeavors. Thank you for your faithfulness to me and to God! Have a wonderful God incarnation celebration season. With much love and appreciation, Greig

For those of us frustrated with our human run government, we must remember this promise. For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven's Armies will make this happen! Isaiah 9:6-7 (NLT)

Spring/Summer 2012

Dear Friends,

It’s been a difficult 2 years for me. There has only been one newsletter in between this newsletter and the one in which I was conveying the fact that my mother had left this realm for the more permanent one on July 25th of 2011. For those who don’t know, we also lost my dad to heaven on June 9th of this year. Both departures were quick and without suffering, of which we are very thankful. Our loss, their gain. Although both were very sudden, the Lord gave many signs and words beforehand that became clear immediately after their departure.

In May, I was wondering if God was done with me on the mission field since my schedule was totally open for the following 3 months. I assumed that He was giving me a long rest. At the same time, several people told me they believed the Lord was telling them that I would be very busy soon. I was expecting the difficult times to be behind but, in May, the Lord spoke to me that I was about to have some more difficult times. In April, Robert Johnson who has been my partner most often on the mission field, called me in Argentina to tell me that he had 2 dreams on 2 sequential nights. In both dreams, he and I were working on my dad’s farm while my dad was smiling with approval in the background. Robert had never had any dreams previously with my dad in them.

Well, long story short, I have been beyond busy overseeing my dad’s farm with much help from my sisters and brother and several other wonderful people. Robert has been one of the people helping us to keep it going and moving forward, right as we move into the heaviest time of the year. Nothing surprises our Father in Heaven, but it certainly threw my plans for a loop. One of the bright points is that I now have the opportunity to implement at Detering Orchards what I have been helping to implement at other Kingdom companies I have been working with.

In May, two weeks before my dad passed, Robert and I sat down to pray. After 2 years of not really being directed to plan for any foreign mission trips together. During that time of prayer, the Lord gave us each, separately, the names of the 2 exact same cities in Finland along with identical date ranges to go there. Robert and I both, after all the events that have transpired since then, believed that the Lord may have rethought and rescheduled us. After a deep direction seeking time recently, it was made clear the mandate to go to Finland in September still stands.

So, after feeling like having been bucked off the horse more than a couple times over the last 2 years, the Lord is telling me to get back on it. I could whine to our Father about having too much to do, but I know friends that would gladly exchange my battle for theirs right now. In hindsight, the dates God had given us fall as well as they could; after most everything has been put back in full operation on the farm and before the heaviest time of year there hits.

So, Robert and I will be leaving September 11th for a two week ministry tour of which we will be based in those two different cities he gave both of us in prayer; Kouvola and Tuupovarra. We have ministry partners there that already have arranged several meetings with various churches and city locations where we will be speaking and praying for people. We fully expect to see the Lord confirming His words with His signs and wonders of healing and deliverance, all of which we have watched Him do on our previous trips to Finland.

I am pretty single focused anyway, but that has gone to an extreme the last 2 months as the Lord brought me in to oversee the rescue, revival and restoration of this farm enterprise that has been in our family for four generations. So, please forgive me for apparently dropping off the face of the earth the last couple of months and not doing a very good job at communicating which, of course, is the most important thing in any relationship.

On another subject, Joe, the co-author of our next ‘Kingdom Business Transformation’ book ‘Strategic Intercession in Your Business’ has been patiently waiting on me to make a couple minor modifications before it goes to final printing. Barring any other major life detours, it should be completed and available before you receive my next newsletter.

Although there may be future support that the farm operation may be able to help provide this ministry, that is not the case right now. So, first of all, I want to thank those of you who have been continuously supporting me in intercession, finances and loving kindness over the last couple of down years. Then I’m asking for any support from you that you feel the Lord is in agreement with you to provide me for our upcoming trip. Our Finish brothers and sisters have always been very generous to us once we get there, but we need to cover our transportation and equipping costs. We will keep you intercessors posted as we go into and through this mission trip. We are depending on you, our air force, for intel and coverage. Thank you!

Declaring the best of the Lord’s surprises for you! With much love and appreciation, Greig
