2000

Greig Detering was called by God to leave his engineering profession of 20 years and dedicate his time solely to the Christian mission field, primarily outside the USA. The Lord sent Greig first to El Salvador and later to Argentina with the primary objective of unifying the body of Christ while ministering to the needs of the people. During one trip in El Salvador, Greig began working with the established missions organization, New Life League International.

2001

The Lord sent Greig back to El Salvador in March, the time that God spoke to him in 2000 that he was to return. This time was right after the second of 2 major earthquakes there on Jan 13 and Feb 13. He worked there with the help of the missions organization, New Life League International. The church was much more receptive to the message of working together as one body after this crisis.

2002

With the encouragement of like minded believers and supporters, a Board of Directors was organized and Amor (Love) Ministries International was officially established. It was decided that all funds donated to Amor Ministries International would be used directly to aid in the preaching of the Good News of the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ. Greig travelled to southern Argentina on June 1, a time the Lord gave him a year earlier when the Argentina economy was booming. A major economic crash occurred in March 2002. When he arrived, the country was in shambles, everything was very inexpensive, and the church was ready to receive.

2003

Robert Johnson became a member of our field ministry team. He previously had done work in Brazil and northern Europe. Several others have been added to our team, outside of our elder board members, both inside and outside the USA. This allows all of us involved to be more effective in what God leads us to do. Greig continued in southern Argentina until the end of the year when he began ministering in northern Argentina in Belen (Bethlehem), Catamarca.

2004

After a year working in Catamarca Argentina, the Lord moved Greig to Tucuman, the former capital city of Argentina, where He began teaching him biblical church structure, the structure which creates unity.

2005

Robert and Greig began ministering together in southern Argentina then Finland, Russia and Stockholm, Sweden where they were conference speakers.

2006

Robert and Greig never stopped traveling this year. They did missions into Romania, Uruguay, Argentina, Estonia, Latvia and Chile.

2007

Greig and Robert travelled with Jim Hoiland where we met our Finland team to minister in the Barcelona, Spain area. We also purchased an apartment in Buenos Aires, Argentina to use as a base for ministry work in South America.

2008

Greig and Robert met our Spain contacts to break ground for this ministry in Sydney, Australia. Greig returned a few months later to that area to continue solidifying connections. Greig and Ed Araiza travelled to Peru to minister in 3 major areas in that country. They also did a ministry trip through southern Argentina.

2009

Greig began working with Joe Galindo, who is based is Dallas, to minister to the business community. He and Robert travelled to Finland where they ministered throughout that country including doing a training conference in NW Finland.

2010

Greig continued with expanding work in the US business community. He and Joe completed a book on structuring leadership and strategic intercession. He also continued with base building trips to Argentina. The field team has been led to minister in several countries in Latin America and Europe and in Australia.

2011

AMI was active working with US fellowships and Kingdom Companies primarily to activate strategic intercessory networks. The only foreign nation activity was in Argentina, although many overseas conference invitations are on the table, we had no orders or provision from the Lord to follow up with those things this year.

2012

We are working to establish a broader and stronger support network in order that we can be more excellent and therefore effective in our missions. The book ‘Strategic Intercession in Your Business’ was released. The ministry infrastructure was also strengthened with additional overseers, field ministers and communications team members. Our work continues with US fellowships and Kingdom Companies. Greig's parents passed suddenly and in short succession over the last year. This required him to take over their business responsibilities. Greig and Robert were nevertheless able to minister for 2 weeks in Finland late this summer.

2013

Due to many events, especially the passing of Greig's parents leaving a farm business for Greig to oversee, the Lord has everyone sidelined into other responsibilities while still maintaining our base in Argentina and a little activity in the business ministry end.

2014

We believe this is a God ordained and prophesied rest time for the ministry that is needed to prepare for much accelerated activities in the future.

2015

We were still primarily on hold in our ministry sending activities but still visiting and maintaining our base in Argentina a couple times yearly. Earl Dickson has been involved in training, especially the prophetic intercessory people.

2016

The sending ministry activities still are suspended. However, it is wonderful to see what the Lord is doing with prophetic intercessory bodies we are involved in which will be critical for what is coming in the near future.

2017

Greig's family was able to get their farm operation into other hands. So the Lord seems to have us transitioning back into focusing on more direct ministry activities, primarily building redesigning our internet communications and gathering intercessors.

2018

We focussed primarily on building our foundation according to the Chief Cornertone's instructions until this is in place. Our elder board and intercessors were strengthened and we worked on our better communications platform

2019

This was the final year of preparation for reignition of this ministry. We worked with groups in Oregon building that new apostolic wineskin, God's original plan for the church. We are also made final preparations for our ministry efforts in Argentina and going into other parts of south America by completing connections and accomodations out of our Buenos Aires base. Two books by Greig were published and are available on Amazon. We also completed our automatic mailing of postings to our web site for more instant communication from anyplace in the world.
